NWO's on-site matchmaking event for the CS4NL 'Cybersecurity for Digital Resilience (KIC)' call brought together a diverse group of participants from companies and research institutes.

Last Thursday, dcypher was impressed with many great ideas on digital resilience. NWO's on-site matchmaking event for the CS4NL 'Cybersecurity for Digital Resilience (KIC)' call brought together a diverse group of participants from companies and research institutes. The huge turn-up demonstrated a solid interest in cybersecurity research with a link to the current market: a great opportunity for the industry and positive sign for the reach of this NWO call.

The discussions at the event were rich and varied, covering topics from building critical ecosystem digital twins to new ways of displaying risks and incorporating the human factor in cybersecurity in new ways. This exchange of ideas offered companies a chance to influence research to align with their sector's needs, thereby amplifying their R&D impact substantially.

One of the remarkable aspects of the event was the pro-active search for research partners by companies, encouraged by the CS4NL initiative to foster closer ties between market players and researchers.

We're so excited for these collaborations and cannot wait to see these innovations coming to life. For researchers looking to apply for funding in this call, make sure you submit a Letter of statement prior to January 11th! Not a researcher, but interested in joining a research initiative and collaborating on cybersecurity R&D? Register here and join us on January 25th when the signed-up parties have the opportunity pitch their ideas.
