The InCyber Forum (formerly known as ‘FIC’) is Europe’s largest cybersecurity trade event. Held annually in the French city of Lille, the event is an opportunity for market leaders, SMEs and start-ups to present their innovative cybersecurity solutions.
Funds from Topsector ICT’s Strategic Trade Event Budget are being used to create a Dutch pavilion for Netherlands-based organisations focusing on cybersecurity innovations. Stephanie Ottenheijm, Programme manager at KIA Digitalisation, will represent Topsector ICT at the InCyber Forum.
Topsector ICT´s internationalisation policy
Setting up a Dutch pavilion for the InCyber Forum supports two targets in Topsector ICT’s internationalisation policy:
- supporting innovative businesses in their international ambitions;
- developing a multiyear strategic public-private partnership in Europe – the InCyber Forum is a major platform for Franco-Dutch collaborations in cybersecurity innovation.
Digital and Information Technologies and Action Agenda
Cybersecurity Technologies is one of the seven Digital and Information Technologies coordinated by Topsector ICT. Topsector ICT is also currently developing two Action Agendas in collaboration with stakeholders: Cybersecurity Technologies and AI/Data.
Last year’s edition of the InCyber Forum attracted around 20,000 visitors from 103 countries. In connection with the Franco-Dutch Economic Year 2025, Topsector ICT, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, the Dutch Ministry of Economy Affairs and the Netherlands Innovation Network in Paris are jointly organising a cybersecurity innovation mission to France from 31 March to 2 April. The mission includes a visit to the InCyber Europe Forum in Lille.
International tour
Following the kick-off in Lille, the InCyber Forum will visit San Antonio, Texas (17 to 18 June), Montreal, Canada (14 to 15 October) and hold its first Asian edition in Tokyo, Japan (December 2025).
