The MIT Scheme: what is it?
The purpose of the MIT Scheme is to encourage innovative SMEs. It consists of five instruments: two handled at the national level by Topsector ICT, and three at the regional level, by the provincial authorities. Each of these instruments falls within the framework of the Knowledge and Innovation Agenda (KIA) Digitalisation.
The TKI ICT may submit applications under the TKI Networking Activities Scheme to organise networking activities such as master classes, workshops and conferences where SMEs can exchange knowledge and build networks.

Matchmaking event | AI start-ups meet VCs
In innovation, it is crucial to find good and reliable partners, and in the digital field more than most. These partnerships are a vital parameter for gathering the momentum necessary to play a part in what is a worldwide race against the clock. Under the MIT scheme, Topsector ICT supports networking events for seven key enabling technologies, including as matchmaking opportunities for potential mutually reinforcing partners.
