Calling everyone with international ambitions in digitalisation and innovation: sign up for one or more upcoming trade delegations, trade fairs and other events! Topsector ICT is an organising partner of several topical conventions in other countries to help you break into new markets and acquire and share know-how, while growing your network and creating new business opportunities.

Topsector ICT is involved in the following delegations:

Innovation delegation to the UK: Neuromorphic computing

Where: London

When: 24-27 March 2025

Further details (in Dutch)

Neuromorphic technologies is one of the seven Digital and Information Technologies under the Knowledge and Innovation Agenda (KIA) Digitalisation. The KIA Digitalisation provides the years ahead with a strategic framework for programming knowledge and innovation in the fields of digitalisation and digital ICT, as part of the Dutch Mission-Driven Top Sectors and Innovation Policy. Topsector ICT is responsible for drafting that KIA.

This delegation will include express connections to the AI/Data Action Agenda being developed as part of the NTS (in Dutch) under the responsibility of the KIA Digitalisation.

As demonstrated in the white paper ‘Neuromorphic Computing in the Netherlands’ which was coordinated by Radboud University and funded in part by Topsector ICT, the Netherlands possesses strong expertise in this area. The authors recommend setting up a national coalition to coordinate the further development of this technology and help with its integration into other key areas of technology such as AI and quantum computing.

Hanover Messe

Where: Hanover

When: 31 March-4 April 2025

Further details

Topsector ICT has designated the Hanover Messe as a strategic trade fair, being the most important event under the Dutch-German Innovation Pact. This is especially true of the countries’ cooperation in the field of data spaces, which is part of the digital and information technology Data Science, Data Analytics and Data Spaces, under Topsector ICT’s guidance.

The Hanover Messe also focuses on various key enabling technologies that have been prioritised under the NTS of Topsector ICT and Topsector High Tech Systems and Materials (HTSM).

Innovation delegation to France: Cybersecurity and visit to the InCyber Forum

Where: Paris and Lille

When: 15-17 April 2025

Further details: Available shortly from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO)

The InCyber Forum is Europe’s premier cybersecurity convention. RVO will lead a trade delegation of Dutch organisations, including a visit to the InCyber Forum. Cybersecurity is a key topic in the Dutch-French Innovation Pact, and 2025/2026 has been designated a Netherlands/France economic year, with extra focus on cooperation between the two countries.

Cybersecurity technologies is one of the ten key enabling technologies given priority under the NTS. An Action Agenda is being prepared for Cybersecurity Technologies, under Topsector ICT’s responsibility.

The Netherlands will host a prominent international cybersecurity conference of its own later this year: the One Conference [link werkt niet] will be held in The Hague on 30 September and 1 October.

Cybersec

Where: Taipei

When: 13-18 April 2025

Further details

In April, RVO, InnovationQuarter, NFIA and Security Delta (HSD) will organise a trade delegation to the Asian country of Taiwan. Taiwan plays an important role in the global supply chain, particularly for the semiconductor and ICT industries. Its unique global economic and geopolitical position also brings challenges: during the first six months of 2024, the country detected an astonishing 15,000 cyberattacks per second.

Delegation members will explore new R&D and/or business opportunities based on developments in the cybersecurity landscapes of the Netherlands and Taiwan and their similarities, but also their complementary strengths, in the areas of ICT hardware and software applications.

Cybersecurity technologies is one of the ten key enabling technologies given priority under the NTS. An Action Agenda is being developed for Cybersecurity Technologies, which will fall under the responsibility of the KIA Digitalisation.

Cybersecurity trade delegation to the RSA Conference

Where: San Francisco

When: 27 April-2 May 2025

Further information

The RSA is the world’s largest cybersecurity conference, drawing more than 40,000 IT professionals, policymakers and innovators, who come to discuss the latest developments and technologies. Topsector ICT has accordingly designated the RSA as a strategic trade fair.

The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) will lead a trade delegation to the RSA Conference in San Francisco for Dutch organisations in the field of cybersecurity that want to grow their networks and want to find out more about the cybersecurity market in the US and about the latest innovations.

InnovationQuarter will host another NL Pavilion this year, to serve as a home base and meeting point for the trade delegation. Members of the delegation can set up stall in the pavilion to present themselves to an international audience. Note, however, that a place in the pavilion is not included in the trade delegation.

Cybersecurity technologies is one of the ten key enabling technologies given priority under the NTS. An Action Agenda is being developed for Cybersecurity Technologies, which will fall under the responsibility of the KIA Digitalisation.
