Topsector ICT

This year, the European Commission’s Erasmus+ Programme has a particular focus on ICT-related projects. The “Forward-Looking Projects” call, for example, offers opportunities for regional ICT initiatives, prioritising efforts to improve digital skills and professional development.

Important priorities for this call

  • Adult Education and Career Guidance: Improving career guidance, upskilling and reskilling, specifically for employees of small and micro-enterprises.
  • Digital Education and Skills: Developing methods to measure digital skills in primary and secondary education.

Further details about deadlines and call texts are expected in late-November. This call presents an exciting opportunity to boost innovation and partnership in the ICT sector.

Preparing for the Forward-Looking Projects call

At this time, the Erasmus+ working programme does not yet provide all the details about the upcoming calls. When the 2025 programme guide is published in late-November, it will provide further information about deadlines and call texts.

However, it is useful to prepare by identifying priorities that support regional ICT projects. This will present opportunities to boost innovation and partnership in the ICT sector, with the potential to have a direct impact on the regional economies.

One of the requirements for this call is a partnership with institutions from at least two other countries.
