dcypher is actively pursuing the engagement of European end users, integrators and certifiers in the automotive sector. This mission is actively shared with the energy sector, where the same goals apply. For cybersecurity, the focus lies on creating an integrated value chain to aid the innovative processes in the entire field.
Capitalizing on our visit to the FIC trade show in Lille earlier this year, which was led by Michiel Boots (Director General for Economy and Digitalization of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy), we are expanding and deepening our international partnerships in France, as a center of innovation in smart mobility and clean energy. The ambitious French digitalization plans in these areas require a strong level of cyber security to succeed and remain resilient, making them a focus area for French innovation programming. The Netherlands has very specific niches of expertise that have the potential to address the French requirement settings and augment domestic supply. For both our national programs in cyber security to succeed, international coalition building for creating pre-competitive capacity is thus essential.
This visit has laid the foundation in squarely placing cyber security on the agenda in the automotive partnership between the Netherlands and France, which has been formalized through an MoU between Hauts-de-France and the Eindhoven areas. Alongside the Dutch automotive industry, we visited the Transalley Campus, the European Battery Valley and the ElectriCity manufacturing plant from Renault, having many fruitful conversations with their constituent members. After this reconnaissance mission, we expect to offer further programming in early 2023 with an opportunity for cyber security businesses to participate in the delegation and furnish 1:1 meetings with investors, adaptors and integrates.
