Visit the LIFES Conference 2025 on July 2nd on the theme of Jointly evolving the ecosystem for FAIR & equitable data reuse. For this event LIFES has some great speakers lined up:
- Robbert Dijkgraaf (Professor of Science and Society at University of Amsterdam)
- Lise Korsten (Co-Director of the Department of Science and Innovation, Centre of Excellence in Food Security)
- Robert-Jan Smits (Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Naturalis)
- Esther Peters (Director of the Leiden Bio Science Park Foundation (LBSP))
- Nico van Meeteren (Executive Director and Secretary General of the Topsector Life Sciences & Health (Health~Holland))
- Peter Verkoulen (Director CoE-DSC)
- Jean-Claude Burgelman (emeritus professor social sciences at the Free University of Brussels)
- Karel Luyben (Rector Magnificus Emeritus of the Delft University of Technology)
They will discuss FAIR and equitable data reuse in the context of open science, the global south and the European Union.
The conference will be highly interactive with several panels on topics like FAIR data visiting, FAIR as Fully AI Ready and Equitable reuse.
During the conference there will be many opportunities for networking. The conference is also part of the Dutch BioScience week.
