We are excited to invite you to our upcoming community meeting on Digital Product Passports, scheduled for May 22nd at between 14:30 – 18:00 at Creative Valley Utrecht CS. This event promises to be an insightful exploration into the transformative potential of Digital Product Passports (DPPs), envisioning its implications for the future of digital product integrity and traceability.
Among others, Sjoerd Rongen, Consultant and Coordinator Digital Product Passports at TNO, will provide a 20 minute summary of: Why do we need DPPs? What is going on in DPPs? What do we know regarding the solution and what do we not know yet? Furthermore, John Deken, Lead Engineer Systems and Integration at IJssel Technologie, will explore the benefits of a DPP to modified roll production for steel rolls. How does the DPP provide insights into the current status and life cycle stage of the asset? Can the DPP provide insights into the useful life of the asset? Besides, Minh Le, Head of Connected Vehicle & Emerging IoT Offerings at Worldline and Member of the CIRPASS Consortium, will address the potential costs and benefits, as well as the impact that the implementation of the DPP may have on Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) through sharing the findings from a CIRPASS study. Last but not least, Emiel Janssen, Standardisation Consultant – Energy Transition at NEN, will discuss the need for standardisation of the DPP in the Netherlands and the EU.
